Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Dengun, Lda ("Dengun", "we" or "our") collects, uses, stores and protects the personal data submitted through this website, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679. By browsing the website or submitting the contact form, you acknowledge this policy. This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically without prior notice, so we recommend that you review it from time to time.

01Definitions

“Personal data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person — for example your name, address, telephone number, email address, or any other detail that could reasonably identify you, directly or indirectly. Some categories of data are considered particularly sensitive, such as information revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, health conditions, trade union membership or sexual orientation. Our contact form is intended only for information about your clinic and your commercial enquiry — please do not submit through it any health data or other personal data belonging to patients of the clinics you represent. We also collect what we refer to as other information — browser and device data, cookies and similar tracking technologies, and general demographic or geographic data which, on their own, do not identify you. Please do not submit third-party personal data through our forms unless you are authorised to do so on that person's behalf.

02Information We Collect

When you request a meeting, demonstration or proposal through our website, we collect the information you provide directly: first name, last name, email, telephone, clinic name, website, clinic size, what you are looking for, and a description of your situation. We also automatically collect certain technical and behavioural data through cookies, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and similar technologies, including browser and device type, general location, the pages you visit, the referring website and — where present — campaign identifiers such as UTM parameters or a Google Click Identifier (GCLID), which help us understand which marketing channel brought you to us. This information allows us to route and respond appropriately to your request and to measure the performance of our marketing activity. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party tools linked from our website, and we recommend that you review their respective policies.

03How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect to respond to your request, to qualify and route your enquiry to the right team, to provide customer support, and to improve the content, navigation and performance of our website. With your consent, we may also use your contact details to contact you by email or telephone about your request, or to share relevant news about our services. We process personal data on one or more of the following legal bases: your freely given consent, which you may withdraw at any time; the necessity to perform a contract or to take steps prior to entering into one; compliance with a legal obligation; our legitimate interest in operating and improving our website; or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

04Data Security

We use encryption, authentication and access control measures to protect the personal data we hold, restricting access to strictly necessary information and transmitting data only in encrypted form. Our systems are protected by firewalls and continuously monitored to detect and prevent unauthorised access or misuse. While we take these precautions seriously, no method of transmission or storage is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

05Data Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy. Data collected for customer support purposes is generally retained for up to five years from the date of your consent or your last contact with us, whichever is later, unless you withdraw your consent before then. If you have opted to receive marketing communications, we retain your contact details until you unsubscribe or ask us to stop. Once no longer necessary, data is securely deleted or anonymised, subject to any applicable legal retention obligations.

06Your Rights and Withdrawal of Consent

You may withdraw your consent to be contacted at any time by calling +351 915 259 722 or emailing [email protected]; from that moment on, we will stop contacting you. Subject to applicable exceptions — such as grounds of public interest, for instance crime prevention, or professional secrecy obligations — you also have the right to request further information about how your data is used, to obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to request its transfer to another controller, to correct inaccurate data, to request its erasure where its use is no longer justified, and to ask us to restrict processing while a complaint is being investigated.

07Consumer Dispute Resolution

Under Portuguese Law no. 144/2015 (article 18), if you are a consumer and a dispute with us cannot be resolved directly, you may refer the matter to CIMAAL — Centro de Informação, Mediação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo do Algarve, located at Ninho de Empresas, Edifício ANJE, Estrada da Penha, 3rd floor, room 26, 8000 Faro, Portugal (telephone +351 289 823 135, website www.consumidoronline.pt).
